The 2026 APT Incheon Main Event drew 1,393 entries at Paradise City Casino, generating a $2,148,960 prize pool. The tournament became Incheon's largest international poker event, offering a $374,085 top prize and APT Championship seats to the top three finishers.
The 2026 Asian Poker Tour (APT) Incheon Main Event has set a new benchmark for live poker in South Korea. The tournament generated strong momentum early when its $1 million guarantee was officially surpassed before play had even started in the third of four live opening flights.
By the close of registration, the flagship event officially established itself as the largest international poker tournament ever held in Incheon and the second-largest APT Main Event in South Korea's history.
Hosted at Paradise City Casino, the event attracted a total of 1,393 entries. This turnout represents a near-10% increase over the previous venue record of 1,281 entries established in 2025.
Within the broader history of the Asian Poker Tour, the field sits behind only the APT Jeju Main Event, which recorded 1,718 entries, among all APT Main Events staged in South Korea.
Additionally, it ranks as the eighth-largest APT Main Event of the tour's new era, which launched in 2023.
Evaluating the achievement, APT CEO Fred Leung highlighted the significance of the turnout despite a busy regional schedule.
"While record-breaking fields have become something we expect of ourselves on the Asian Poker Tour," said APT CEO Fred Leung, "we’re very pleased to see the APT Incheon Main Event surpass last year’s record turnout."
"Particularly with so many overlapping poker festivals in Asia taking place after the conclusion of WSOP, the continued growth is a strong reflection of the confidence players have in the APT."
Driven by the 1,393 entries across the opening flights, the total prize pool reached $2,148,960, more than doubling the initial $1 million guarantee. A total of 207 players secured a share of the purse, with minimum payouts starting at $2,700.
The eventual champion of the roughly $1,765 buy-in tournament will earn a top prize of $374,085 alongside the golden APT Lion trophy.
Furthermore, the top three finishers will receive added value for their deep runs, as each will earn a seat in the $5 million guaranteed APT Championship scheduled for this November in Taipei.
