  • APT’s 2027 schedule will feature only Jeju and Taipei as host cities.
  • The tour leaves behind a record-setting 2026, with impressive player numbers and prize pools.
  • Main Event guarantees and complete schedules for most 2027 stops are still to be announced.
Asia Poker Tour (APT) 2027 Schedule
The Asian Poker Tour (APT) just released its 2027 shedule but before looking at where the APT is going next year, it is worth looking at what it is leaving behind.

The tour has spent 2026 repeatedly pushing up its own field and prize-pool records. Jeju produced the largest international tournament held in South Korea, Taipei became APT’s largest regular festival and Incheon broke its own Main Event high. The second Jeju visit then finished only a day before APT unveiled the first dates for 2027.

Next year, the tour is concentrating its schedule around just two destinations. Here are the details.

What APT Looked Like in 2026

Jeju Classic opened the season with a 1,718-entry Main Event. The KRW 2.2 billion guarantee was comfortably passed, with KRW 3.414 billion eventually in the prize pool.

Taipei went larger again. Over 12 days, the festival produced 26,009 entries from 3,890 individual players and more than $19.1 million in total prizes. The Main Event accounted for 2,354 entries and approximately $3.59 million.

APT Incheon 2026

Incheon’s Main Event grew to 1,393 entries, creating a KRW 3.01 billion prize pool. The festival as a whole paid almost KRW 16 billion. Then it was time for Jeju again. The autumn festival was extended from its original 10-day schedule to 13 days and finished with 10,667 entries, 1,222 unique players and KRW 19.44 billion in prize money.

The final 2026 stop is still ahead. APT Championship runs November 13–29 in Taipei, with 209 events currently listed and a $5 million guaranteed $10,000 Main Event.

What's Changed for 2027?

The obvious answer would be the location.

Incheon appeared between Taipei and Jeju on the 2026 schedule. For now, it's not included among the four stops announced for 2027, leaving next year’s calendar split entirely between South Korea’s Jeju Island and Taiwan’s capital.

The current 2027 calendar doesn't necessarily mean APT is finished with Incheon. The current announcement just presents these as marquee stops, and complete schedules remain unfinished.

The other changes are much smaller. Jeju Classic comes earlier. Taipei gets an extra day. The second Jeju visit is shorter than the expanded 2026 edition. The Championship keeps the same length and the same $10,000 freezeout concept.

What the APT is still keeping under wraps are the guarantees for three of the four Main Events, the complete side-event menus and how many Lion Trophy and high-roller events will fill those dates.

Those details will determine how aggressive the 2027 programme really is. For now, the tour has chosen familiar ground and given Jeju and Taipei another year to chase the numbers they set in 2026.
