  • APL 2026 has a ¥250M prize pool over 27 events on GGPoker.

APL Championship 2026

The 2026 edition of the Ace Poker League (APL) Championship is officially in motion, with three weeks of high-stakes action scheduled through March 1. Hosted on GGPoker, the series has set a total guarantee of ¥250,000,000, distributed across 27 primary trophy events.

For players accustomed to USD-denominated series, the APL is going to be a change of pace, using Chinese Yuan (CNY) for all buy-ins and payouts while focusing on a schedule optimized for the Asian time zones.

Key Milestones in the Schedule

The series opened on February 8 with the APL Tip-Off, but the heaviest action is slated for the coming weekends. On February 15, the ¥10,000,000 GTD APL Winter Championship will serve as a mid-series anchor.

This is followed by the ¥10,000,000 GTD Lunar Mystery Bounty on February 22, a format that has become a staple of major online festivals.

The Race to the Main Event

Everything in the series leads to the Red Horse Main Event, which begins its final stages on March 1. With a buy-in of ¥2,026 and a ¥25,000,000 guarantee, it represents the largest single prize pool of the festival. Satellites for the Main Event are currently running daily, allowing players to qualify for a fraction of the direct entry cost.
